The Collective Software Group LLC respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of Shortsale Genie™ to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on the platform that are reported to our designated Copyright Agent.

Filing a notice of infringement
To submit a takedown notice, provide the following in writing to the Copyright Agent above:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (URL(s) on the platform)
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, email address)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing the elements set out in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) to the same Copyright Agent.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, The Collective Software Group LLC will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
Note: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages.
