How does The Collective Software Group LLC protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We limit access to nonpublic personal information to employees, contractors, and vendors who need it to perform services for you. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security policies, and access is logged and audited.

How does The Collective Software Group LLC collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you or your real-estate agent open an account, provide identification, submit tax returns or paystubs, upload hardship documentation, or authorize us to obtain your account information. We also collect your personal information from third parties such as your real-estate agent, brokerage, lender, or credit bureau.

Why can't I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only (1) sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness, (2) affiliates from using your information to market to you, and (3) sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law (including California's CCPA/CPRA).
