Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly plans (Starter $79/mo, Pro $149/mo, Team $299/mo) renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel anytime from your Account Settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you retain access through the end of the current paid period. Partial-month refunds are not issued for monthly plans.

2. 7-day satisfaction guarantee (new accounts)

First-time subscribers may request a full refund of their first monthly charge within 7 days of initial signup by emailing legal@shortsalegenie.com. Refunds are not available after 7 days, on renewal charges, or on subsequent subscription plans purchased under the same account.

3. Founding Member Pre-Pay Pass (35% off)

The pre-launch Founding Pass is a pre-payment of 12 months in exchange for a lifetime discount lock. Because it is a launch-conditional purchase, refunds are available as follows:

• Before public launch (before Aug 31, 2026): Full refund on request, no questions asked. Email legal@shortsalegenie.com.
• Within 14 days after launch: Full refund on request; account and Founding Member badge are removed.
• After 14 days post-launch: Pro-rated refund of the unused portion of the annual pre-payment, calculated at the standard monthly rate for your tier (not the discounted rate).

4. 20% waitlist discount

The Waitlist tier is free to join and creates no charge. Removing yourself from the waitlist forfeits the 20% lifetime lock but requires no refund because no payment was made.

5. Payment processor

All charges are processed by Stripe, Inc. (The Collective Software Group LLC is the merchant of record). Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically settle within 5–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Fraudulent chargebacks or those filed without a prior good-faith attempt to resolve may result in account suspension, collection, or a permanent ban from the platform. Legitimate disputes will always be honored under this policy.

7. Price changes

Standard subscription prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on file. Founding Member lifetime rate locks are honored regardless of standard price changes, provided the account remains in good standing and continuously subscribed.

8. How to request a refund

Email legal@shortsalegenie.com from the address on your account. Include your account email and the reason for the request. We respond within 3 business days.
